Latin Beats Will Liven Up AASU Fundraiser Gala
(April 21, 2010) Armstrong Atlantic State University’s Hispanic Outreach & Leadership (HOLA) program will host its second annual scholarship fundraiser gala at 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 23 in the Armstrong Center Ballroom, 13040 Abercorn Street.
The Growing Dreams Gala will raise funds to provide scholarships for Latino students at AASU during the 2010-11 academic year. Tickets are $35 if purchased by April 20. AASU students with a valid ID pay $20. After April 20, tickets are $40 and can be purchased at the door.
The Kachimbo Band will provide live entertainment, including a lineup of salsa, merengue and bachata styles of music. Hors d’oeuvres will be served.
