Get the Armstrong Experience
(June 13, 2011) Armstrong Atlantic State University has launched a new website, The Armstrong Experience (http://armstrongexperience.com), that features the accomplishments of students, alumni and faculty at the university. The site is a compilation of short essays with photography and video highlighting personal, academic and community-based efforts.
“We saw this as an opportunity to go beyond our regular Armstrong.edu website and be able to focus on the work and efforts that our students, alumni and faculty have undertaken in recent months,” said Brenda Forbis, Armstrong director of marketing and communications. “We want everyone to able to quickly zoom in and learn about the work being done everyday on our campus that contributes to the betterment of our city and region.”
The new site is searchable and includes entries under the headings of students, alumni and faculty. A link in the site allows for the submission of profile ideas. The site will evolve as more stories are added.
