Armstrong’s Growing Dreams Gala to Benefit Latino Students
(April 24, 2012) The local community is invited to attend the 2012 Growing Dreams Gala, the 4th annual Hispanic Outreach & Leadership at Armstrong (HOLA) scholarship fundraiser. The gala will raise funds for the 2012-2013 HOLA achievement scholarship awards, which will be given to Latino students enrolled at Armstrong. The event will take place on Friday, April 27, 2012 in the Student Union Ballroom from 7:30 p.m. to midnight.
Attendees will be treated to live Latin music and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets will be presold in the Student Union until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25 and will cost $25 per guest and $15 per student. After the pre-sale, tickets will cost $40. The public is encouraged to attend, and all donations are tax-deductible.
This event is sponsored by the HOLA club, Phi Iota Alpha, Sigma Iota Alpha, the Latino chapter of the Armstrong Alumni Association and La Voz Latina newspaper.
