Armstrong Hires Jonathan White as Director of Admissions and Recruitment
(March 4, 2014) — Armstrong Atlantic State University recently hired Jonathan White as the new director of admissions and recruitment. In his new position, White is responsible for the strategy and execution of university admissions and recruitment, providing prospective students access to educational opportunities at Armstrong.
Before joining Armstrong, White served as vice president of enrollment management at the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, N.J., where he coordinated with academic leadership and faculty on the development of academic programs and policies to boost enrollment.
Earlier in his career, White served as president of the Council of Chief Enrollment Officers at the State University of New York System Administration, where he coordinated system-wide efforts to improve recruitment and retention efforts for the State University of New York.
White earned a B.S. in Political Science at Bates College, and a M.B.A with a concentration in Marketing at Marymount University.
He is an active member of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA), New York State Transfer and Articulation Association (NYSTAA) and National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC).
