Armstrong Adds Public Relations Manager
(March 19, 2012) Armstrong Atlantic State University announces the addition of Emily Belford as public relations manager to the marketing and communications department, effective March 12, 2012. Belford will spearhead public relations strategy and campaigns for the university, its students, faculty and programs and will work with the marketing and communications team on university publications and communication efforts across campus.
Belford comes to Armstrong from the marketing and public relations department at Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah. She has nearly a decade of experience in the field including a number of years in public relations for major national and international book publishing companies based in New York City. A native of Mississippi, Belford has a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Sewanee: The University of the South.
