RAD Self-defense Training for Mothers and Daughters

The Armstrong Police Department is reaching out to the community to offer a self-defense training class for women. This class is a Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) course that caters specifically to mothers and their teenage daughters. RAD provides an opportunity for women to learn techniques for protecting themselves in unsafe, dangerous situations. The training will be offered free of charge on March 23 from 9a.m. to 6p.m. on the Armstrong campus, 11935 Abercorn St., and is free and open to the public. The deadline for registration is March 5.
