Persons was among the first group of African-American students on campus and is a past member of the Armstrong Foundation Board of Trustees. A seasoned trial lawyer, he focuses on complex litigation, including class actions, mass torts and product liability. He regularly appears before the state and federal courts throughout the country and has served as lead counsel in more than sixty-five jury trials. He is a recipient of the State Bar of Georgia Tradition of Excellence Award.
